my conscience made me change the name of this post so i wouldn’t get sued

guess who i ran into jus now? heheh i was in ss15 for bible study anen i got out of the car i walked a few metres anen poof i see joanne kong li-juan! im quite sure got – between the li and the juan one cos las time like to make fun of her name :p hahaha so yeah i saw her and i wen like JOANNEEE!!! and she was like ooh ma gawww why din call me!! and i was like i did la i msged you wadd…cos the las time i was in subang i called her and asked her wanna meet up or not but it was the mid of the nite so she din come out lol. anen she wen eee a fren from home who ive known for many many years lol she looked so happy to see me. eleh. but yeah quite sad oso la. las time whenever i go ss15 got ppl’s house to stay got ppl to hang out with got ppl persuade me stay over and watch world cup final some more. but now everyone like gone liaw. cheh. anen said bye to joanne cos she was going somewhere and i was going somewhere else so yeah. budden walked another few metres then saw some lodge juniors. donno their names but can tell they from lodge la. haha.

reminds me that i’ve been here for two bloody years la. in shah alam not ss15. put me in ss15 for two years still not so bad. bleh. shah alam water oso not clean every week oso got ppl get denggi. wad lah. i miss being around lodge ppl la. serious. ppl who ive been with long enough to know wad im really like. ppl who take me for wad i am and don judge me cos they know me too well to have perceptions and think this and that when i act weird. anen when i read ppl’s blogs and i see ppl overseas doing this and that with their lives and im still looking forward to waiting to take my alevels next week. budden again here ive met some ppl who i can honestly call frens and tho they’ll never be like the ppl i grew up with, they’ve probably been thru jus as much as i have for the past two years and i know that i still have frens to fall back on here.

but here’s to lodge-graduating class of 2005. salute. cos lodge has never been the same since we left. honestly i think we’re the best batch that has ever come out of lodge, in terms of being a collective group of students, in terms of behaviour xD, in terms of academic and extra-curricular achievements. believe me when i say that everyone in this batch is destined for great things, and i can only hope to look back on all this one day, together, and say that hey, weve made it.

coming from lodge i have always been percieved in a slightly different manner from most. even jus now in the car, when i was telling them bout my school, they were like ha? private school students can get scholarship one mer? and ppl will owes be saying things like haih private school student ma rich one ma and all that. and the truth is i couldnt care less. all that i know is my parents paid good money to provide me with the best education that they could afford, and im proud to say that lodge is more than capable of providing excellent education. and the teachers in lodge, they really know and they really care. respect and honour of the highest order goes out to them.

there are times when i wonder why lodge students come off as snobbish rich brats who don know how lucky they are. the vast majority of the group that i graduated with are friendly, down-to-earth, modest ppl (well most of them are :p) and even tho there’s no denying that most of them come from households that are very well-off, they arent ppl who deserve the prejudice that they get. i have a feeling tho that that generation of lodge students, might very well be a thing of the past. lodge has somewhat evolved over the years, and as i look back and compare the school that i wen to since kindergarten with the one that is now, it is becoming increasingly easier to justify that very prejudice that is so often aimed at lodge. it is a bit sad, but hey wad can i do?

some ppl that i know are very reluctant to let ppl know that they are students of lodge, and when they were there jus couldnt wait for the day that they would leave to come. i mus admit i was excited bout leaving too, but it was only because i knew that i would be heading towards greater things, and i was excited bout life, bout the change in routine. in hindsight, i wish now that i could have everything as comfortable as i had them when i was still in school, but who would be stupid enough to regret moving on in life right? we cant after all keep leaving in the past. i quote elder kien yiak in saying “the past works hand in hand with the devil, the past does not play fair, it hits you when you are at your lowest.” but i am proud to say that i was a student of lodge, and i have absolutely no regrets from the 14 years that i spent as a student of lodge school. every mistake, every fren made, every single day; i wouldnt change a thing (cheh cheh :p)

so here it is, my personal tribute to my school. i honestly hope it continues to produce generations more of good ppl. and to those who have nth good to say bout lodge, well, screw you 😛
